The money your statement
quietly loses, found.
DentalPay is the pay copilot for UK dental associates. It checks every statement against your contract — catching lab bills charged twice, UDA rates that slipped, and wrong splits — tracks your targets, and gets you ready for January.
Most associates have never once checked their statement against their contract.
Not because they don’t care — because doing it by hand, every month, is tedious and easy to get wrong. So three things slip through, month after month.
Charged twice, or for the wrong things
The same crown billed in two months, or consumables and sundries slipped into your lab share when your contract excludes them. It adds up quietly.
A rate that slipped without a word
Your UDA count times your contracted rate doesn’t match the NHS gross on your statement. Completed UDAs go missing, or the rate quietly drops.
Applied to the wrong line
A 50% split that somehow became 43% this month. Private income split before the right deductions. The effective number rarely matches the contract.
Figures are illustrative — but each is a real check DentalPay runs on every statement.
“You appear to be £230 short this month.”
That’s the moment DentalPay is built for. You paste your statement, it rebuilds what you should have been paid from your contract, and tells you — in plain English, with the pound figure — exactly where the gap is and why.
- Every flag shows the line it came from
- Export a one-page receipt for your practice manager
- Quiet by design — no flag unless the maths says so
From statement to settled in three steps.
Most associates have never once checked a statement against their contract. The maths is tedious by hand and instant here.
Enter your statement
Type in the figures from SOE, Dentally, or your printed remittance — NHS gross, UDAs, private, lab bills, deductions. Two minutes, no PDF upload needed.
We reconcile it against your contract
DentalPay rebuilds what you should have been paid from your agreed split, UDA rate and lab policy — then compares it line by line to what actually landed.
See exactly what you’re owed
Every discrepancy is flagged with the pound figure and the reason: a lab bill counted twice, a UDA rate that dropped, a split applied to the wrong line. Export a one-page receipt for your practice manager.
See what you should be paid — and what you keep.
Enter this month’s figures. Results update as you type — no account needed.
Tax figures are a simplified estimate from your annualised pay, before expenses, pension and student loan. Pro accounts get the full picture.
See how your pay compares — without showing a soul.
Pro shows where your UDA rate, take-home and NHS/private split sit against other associates in your region — and across the whole UK. Every figure is pooled into anonymous medians; nobody ever sees your numbers, and small regions stay hidden until enough people join.

Before you enter a single figure.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your statements and contract are stored only against your own account and sync across your devices. We never sell or share your figures with practices, recruiters, the NHS, or any third party. Regional benchmarks, if you opt in, are fully anonymous.
How accurate is it — and what if a flag is wrong?
DentalPay rebuilds your expected pay from the contract figures you enter, then compares line by line with a small rounding tolerance. A flag is a prompt to ask a question, not a verdict. Every flag shows the exact line and the working behind it, so you can check it in seconds before raising anything.
Will my practice know I’m using it?
No. DentalPay is entirely yours — there’s no practice-side account, no notification, nothing shared automatically. If you find a discrepancy, you decide whether and how to raise it. The optional one-page receipt is there to make that conversation easier, on your terms.
Do I still need my accountant?
Keep them. DentalPay does the thing your accountant doesn’t do monthly — checking each statement as it lands — and gets your year tidy so January is calmer and cheaper. The Self-Assessment pack is built to hand straight to your accountant, not to replace them.
Which practice software does it work with?
Any of them. You enter the figures from SOE, Dentally, R4, or a printed remittance — whatever your practice uses. Direct statement import is on the roadmap, but the manual entry takes about two minutes once your contract is set up.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — Pro is £4.99/month, no contract, cancel whenever you like from your account. Your saved history stays available on the free plan.
